Unity in Diversity

From very first day of my childhood my parents were trying to teach me the concept of "unity in diversity". I always was trying to apply it in my life and I thought I am successful in it because I could be friend with my classmate back in my country. I could see the differences between our ideas but we could tolerate the diversity in our thought and discuss about different topics. Now after many years, here, in Australia, I am in a city which I cannot find a place with one nationality; in streets, in shopping centers, in restaurants, in parks, in our class there are more than 4 or 5 nationalities with different culture, different belief, different visions about the way that world is governing, different perception about human nature, different belief about The Superior Power, and lots of other differences. Now I can understand "unity in diversity" is not only tolerating others but also trying to bring unity to any social spaces that we live.
